Candy Crush Saga (from Microsoft/Activision/King) and Honor of Kings (from Tencent) are very impressive games when it comes to consumer spend ($$):
Candy Crush Saga:
π 2012: initial release
π 2013: reaches $1billion in consumer spend in one year for the first time
π 2023: Ranks #1 by consumer spend Worldwide
Honor of Kings:
π 2015: initial release
π 2017: reaches $1billion in consumer spend in one year for the first time
π 2023: Ranks #2 by consumer spend Worldwide
But Honor of Kings was only available in China so far. Pre-registrations have started and the game should be released this year in the US, UK, Canada and many other countries.
Do you think Honor of Kings will take over Candy Crush Saga by consumer spend this year? Curious to know what the community thinks hereΒ
